Art Classes for Adults - Begin from Wednesday 13th September
Start your creative journey with us this autumn, we offer a wide variety afternoon and evening classes for Adults. Many of our Mini Picassos team, are local practicing artists. We have invited them to our studio to spread their passion for art, in a fun and relaxing environment.
Absolutely no art experience is needed! Whether a course or drop in, we build confidence; starting from the basics.

Come alive with colour, mark-making and experimentation! with Mini Picassos founder Sarah Neale
This course is designed for people who want to loosen up their painting and ‘seeing’ skills, to explore different ways of making art. We work with a large variety of mediums to explore mark-making, colour mixing, composition and the use of different tools to create art.
This Autumn term our wonderful Paint the Portrait course is back, with the talented Sarah Teare
Beginning at the basics, this 10 week course, will guide you step by step while learning a variety of drawing and painting techniques.
We will work with a live model for 2 weeks and then work from photos, while developing our painted portrait. We will be learning about watercolour and oil paints on canvas. Learning step by step colour theory and building layers of beautiful paint.
Don't worry if you are an absolute beginner or a longstanding expert,
you can lose yourself for a couple of hours in life drawing
Explore drawing the nude, we have a wonderful selection of male and female models. The session usually starts with quick warm up poses, then onto a longer pose for the rest of the evening. Tuition offered or you may wish to do your own thing.
Materials: all drawing paper and pencils, chalks, charcoal are included so just bring yourself!
